Current Kicker President Steve Irby began his sonic journey by working with musical instrument and car audio ideas with his father in his garage in 1973. From there Steve was asked to rig up speakers for a friend’s pick-up truck. Steve soon went on to develop the first full frequency-range speaker box designed specifically for cars and trucks.
